Camps & Hostel

Because it is a remote place, the area has allowed its people to preserve traditions of weaving of llama and alpaca wool, the cultivation of potatoes, and the weaving of colourful handmade garments with Inca motifs. This Tour is experiential since you can see closely the customs and experiences of the Andean population.

Day 1

Transfer from the hotel at 05:00 hrs

To start our adventure crossing the Sacred Valley of the Incas we arrive at the thermo-medicinal baths of Lares, on the way we can appreciate the majestic sacred valley with its fertile lands, then we arrive at the small town of calca (2940msnm) then ascending passing through the Small villages of Totora and Maucaupata.

Finally after a trip of approx. 4 hours we arrive at Lares (3,200msnm) visit to the thermal baths to take a refreshing bath.

After lunch after having contacted our muleteers we started the walk arriving at our first camp in 4 hours Wacawasi

Day 2


Early start to the day we start with breakfast which our chefs prepare for you.

We will ascend through the ipsay pass along the way we will appreciate different rural communities as well as different customs and textiles that they themselves weave for their daily use.

We will arrive at the ipsaycocha lagoon where lunch will be served.

After a nap we will continue to the town of Patacancha where we will spend the second night

Day 3


Early start to the day we start with breakfast which our chefs prepare for you.
Trek to the small town of Willoq

After breakfast we will continue with our trek to the small town of Willoq population with original customs, we will also pass through small towns during the course of our walk we will be able to observe the archaeological remains of Qochapata and Pumamarca, to appreciate the famous Inca Terraces, at approximately 14: 00 hrs we will reach the town of Ollantaytambo, located on the banks of the Vilcanota River, a fertile valley, this ancient Inca village is considered one of the most important living museums in the world

After lunch we will have free time until 7:30 pm after which we will board the train to Aguas Calientes

7:30 pm we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Train schedule may vary by season or availability)

We will spend the last night in a lodging with private bathroom and hot water.

Day 4

Machu Picchu

Very early we will leave walking towards the Inca city of Machupicchu to see the sunrise and then have the guided tour of the entire sanctuary, approximately 2:30 minutes. After which we will have free time until 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Train to Ollantaytambo

In the afternoon we will board the train that will take us to the town of Ollantaytambo, where the bus awaits us to return to Cusco.

You must send us a copy/picture of both side of your student card. Students card must be an original ID given from the university in PVC material and it must have the next requirements: university information, personal student information, student picture, and expiration date valid only for one year, the year must coincide with the date you’ll be visiting Machu Picchu, the discount is until 25 years old. If you are older than 25 even you hold a valid student card, according to the Peruvian government rule you don’t apply to it any more.
